STILL Waters, Dominica Exhibition

 

I am presenting a body of work that I have been journeying with for over 2 years. More recently, *Hurricane Maria has been my muse, given me the urgency to express my ideas. We need to look at our extreme weather as symptoms of a long-term, fast-paced event, ‘Climate Crisis’, the effects of which were brought home to our doorsteps and rooftops.

Working on this exhibition has been incredibly cathartic. Day by day I am liberated from the traumatic experience and aftermath of its muse, I pray that this will be the impact on those who come to see the exhibition, that they too can feel liberated.
